The United Nations SDG Action Campaign, in collaboration with HUG, presents HOPE IN ACTION—an art exhibition featuring 25 artworks on key global themes such as climate action, gender equality, peace, food security, youth empowerment, and digital transformation. Through diverse creative mediums such as photography, embroidery, sculpture, these works reflect the hopes, dreams, and demands of people worldwide.
This exhibition highlights art not only as a reflection of aspiration but as a call to action, urging everyone to ACT NOW for our common future—one that is peaceful, sustainable, just, and inclusive for all.

The Opening Ceremony of the Summit of the Future Action Days featured the launch of the HOPE IN ACTION art exhibition, which was curated by the UN SDG Action Campaign and the HUG with the support of the UN Youth Office. This exhibition shows the role of creativity as a catalyst for advocacy, action, and hope, demonstrating the crucial role of young voices in shaping a more just and sustainable future.
HOPE IN ACTION was featured at two SDG Media Zone sessions held during the 79th session of the UN General Assembly at UN Headquarters in New York. The event “Shaping a Path to Inclusive Prosperity” featured the art exhibit on Rai news in Italy with Laura Pepe, RAI Journalist, Stefano Gatti, Director General for Development Cooperation for the Government of Italy, Lucia Silva, Chief Sustainability Officer at Assicurazioni Generali and Marina Ponti, Global Director of the UN SDG Action Campaign. The session, “The Power of Art for the 2030 Agenda” featured Tina Survilla Lindell from HUG, and discussed how art and artists are pivotal in sparking discussions, changing perceptions, and rallying action toward achieving the 2030 Agenda.

Echoes of Us stands in solidarity with the ongoing struggles in the artist’s home country. The fragmented face, composed of torn paper and media elements, symbolizes the diverse yet unified voices of the people, all calling out for change. Despite their different backgrounds and experiences, they come together to speak with one voice, demanding to reclaim their future. Its intensity captures the collective yearning for true joy and freedom, a declaration that the people’s smiles and laughter will no longer be forced, but authentic and hard-won.
All For Our Future is a tribute to the promise of economic justice through the lens of the next generation. Comprising 10 mini illustrations, the vibrant imagery places children at the heart of a vision for a just world, where key pillars like education, healthcare, and climate action come together to build a thriving future. The artwork invites viewers to reflect on the importance of empowering children, underscoring that their well-being is the truest measure of progress and justice.
Hope in Action envisions the collective heartbeat of humanity, centered in the pulse of each of our hearts and the natural rhythms of our collective home, Earth. The artwork offers a message of peace rooted in our shared humanity and the care we have for our home.
The animation uses a “noise” signal to represent the pulse. Much like noise signals in data or audio, diversity may appear chaotic or difficult to grasp at first. Yet, upon closer inspection, both reveal intricate patterns and hidden richness, contributing to the beauty and complexity of the whole system.
