WHAT WE COLLECT
We may collect the following information:
- name, organisation and job title
- contact information including email address
- demographic information such as gender, preferences and interests
- the IP address, browser/device type and geographical information
- images relevant to Unite To Act ACTivator
- other information relevant to MYWorld survey and/or other campaign products
Please ensure that the data and images provided are owned by you and not copyrighted elsewhere. SDGAC and UNDP will not be liable for any claims.
To safeguard your information, we store personal data in encrypted files and provide access only on a need-to-know basis. Furthermore, your data will be permanently deleted from our records to ensure compliance with data retention policies after the SDGs.
WHAT WE DO WITH THE INFORMATION WE GATHER
We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:
- We may use the information to improve our campaign tools and services.
- We may periodically send emails about SDG Action related information, new events or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
- From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for specific campaign-related tools. We may contact you by email, phone or mail. We may use the information to customise our digital products according to your interests.
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, any content included on UN SDG Action Campaign’s websites and we shall not be liable to the Users or to any third party for their modification, suspension, or discontinuance.
