SDG Pavilion unveiled at 2018 World Conference on VR

The UN SDG Action Campaign and Youthink Center organized the SDG Pavilion at the World VR Conference, with the support from UNDP and UNICEF China Office and also Jiangxi Government. The SDG Pavilion featured United Nations Virtual Reality, MY World, and invited visitors to experience UNVR in the pavilion. China’s leading Television Media CCTV also conducted interviews simultaneously about SDG Pavilion.

The 2018 World Conference on VR Industry was held in Nanchang, Jiangxi from October 19 to 21, 2018. More than 2000 domestic and foreign experts, scholars and entrepreneurs in the field of VR/AR were invited to attend this top event.

The conference theme was “VR Adorns the World” and aimed at focusing on cutting-edge technologies, discussing the road for development, demonstrating latest achievement, promoting application and popularization, building communication platform and converging elements and resources.

The SDG Pavilion was great success, attracting a large number of delegates and other exhibitors, especially young people, to gain a deeper understanding of Sustainable Development Goals. Youthink Center will continue to call on more young people to learn, advocate and take actions on SDGs in the future.

The conference was jointly sponsored by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and People’s Government of Jiangxi Province and co-organized by China’s Center for information Industry Development (CCID), Commission of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangxi Province, People’s Government of Nanchang and Industry of Virtual Reality Alliance.
